• .March is the start of National Women’s History Month, National Women's History Month in March annually encourages us to honor the women who came before us and fought for equality among all races and genders. Take the time to learn more about women's history this month. If you do, chances are it'll help you truly understand and appreciate the strength and determination of women across the country over hundreds of years.

I am proud to work as a State Farm agent in Arroyo Grande since 2002. My team and I serve the greater Five Cities area (Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Shell Beach and Oceano), as well as the entire Central Coast and all of California.

Prior to becoming an agent, I was a claims adjuster for many years. Before that, I owned and operated an auto body shop. All of this experience, coupled with the resources of a great company like State Farm, means you are in for a wonderful customer experience! In fact, exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of our office. We value and enjoy our customer relationships and often end up insuring the adult children and grandchildren of our current customers.

A little more about my background: I was born in San Jose and attended Fresno State on a basketball scholarship before transferring to Cal Poly to play basketball and continue my education. My wife Shelly was born in San Luis Obispo. We have been married for 39 years and have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. We love to travel, hang out with our dog Dudley, and chase grandchildren around.

I enjoy restoring classic cars, basketball, and anything my grandchildren are doing. I stay involved in the community and actively support youth sports and community events on an ongoing basis. I have coached 5 Cities Youth Basketball, club basketball and high school girls' basketball.
